yah, sure....

Meanwhile, *can* relate is quite different from *wish to* relate.  I
was initially thinking of the Greeks ("anyone who can't speak Greek is
a barbarian") and the Caribs (who had their Arawak neighbors for lunch
whenever possible), but we've seen more recent examples of this.
