Well, the chap who was Pope from 1447 to 1455 seems the most obvious
candidate... strengthened the alliance between the papacy and the HRE...
Concordat of Vienna, 1448, giving Frederick the Imperial crown in return
for the Germans remaining faithful to Rome... got Felix V (last
anti-pope) to resign...
