Does a nuke in space generate a kill by blast pressure?  No
atmosphere, no blast, right?
My mental image (which may not have any connection to plausability)
has always been that you won't be able to get a nuke through the point
defenses to near-miss range--a missile actually kills by getting close
enough with a bundle of bomb-pumped lasers.
