Subject: Stuff to look out for in model shops
Haunting the local model shop for yet more stuff I don't really need, I
noted a couple of items that might be useful:
Heller 1/72 scale AMX 30 MBT- a nice 1970s kit of an older MBT that
could be
"futurized". It would suit a GEV or Grav conversion as the tracks in
the
kit are truly abysmal- you could do better with printed paper. The hull
is
82x42mm.
Price 2.99 UK pounds.
Italeri 1/72 scale "MiG 37B Ferret E" a fictional Soviet stealth
fighter,
more F22\F23 than F117 in shape, about 200x140mm. Ideal air support or
parked target for SG2. Lots of detail, and astounding amounts of warning
stencils in Russian ("Danger: fast-opening door" etc.) Mine was also
2.99 UK
pounds.
