Ryan is correct.

You are limited to a number of weapons equal to the vehicle size (not
counting the free APSW).

Ok, but a class-2 (smal) vehicle could carry more than 2 weapons. Yes?
the CIS BMD-3 has 6 weapon systems and carries 5 passangers and only
weighs 14.5 tons. If that ain't small, I dont' know what is.
Granted the UK Scorpion weighs only 8.8 tons, and has only 2 weapons,
but that is by design.

In DS2, Wheeled, Grav, Tread etc. have different movement rates and
terrain
limitations. This is abstracted out in SG2. A direct conversion would
have
vehicles zipping across the SG board at 60, 100, 120 or even 150" a turn

(not counting VTOL or aerospace).

What about in the desinging stage of SG2? I understand about the not
wanting vehicles taking one turn to go from one end of the table to the
other in the blink of an eye, but what about making the desinger pay for
the concept of having tracked verses wheeled, or grav, or GEV
capabilities.	They all go 12" but the designed trakced vehicle of
today is the high tech low drag grav tomorrow! Same stats, different
drive.	No change in price eh? Instead of poof! It's tracked, pay for
the clunky clanky tracks or the whoosh of the grav drives, or the
vvvvsssvvvssvvvvvv of the fans from a blower.

DS2 also makes some adjustment in the type of powerplant required for
certain movement types and weapons (as Ryan indicated). And points try
to
provide some balance as well (but the system needs adjusting).
