Beth Fulton's FSE has something of a "dazzle" pattern in various
shades of blue, IIRC, but you may find that intimidating/too time
intensive (I did, anyway).  I'd be inclined to try a fairly light blue
(or possibly gold) between the panels, and paint the panels white or
