	Yes, just for the record, AFAIK, while the concept was invented
	a long time ago, it first appeared simultaneously in 
	the novels THE FOUNTAINS OF PARADISE by Sir Arthur C. Clarke
	and THE WEB BETWEEN THE WORLDS by Charles Sheffield.
