I investigated this a while ago.

The only things you could buy, nitro morse etc, a fairly toxic and sound
like
they will damage the mini.

in the end i soaked mine for several days in thinners. And then scrubbed
them with a hard toothbrush.

Got rid of some of the paint, plus all of the glue, and then i painted
over
what was left.
