One of the best game stores in the area is actually over in O'Fallon, Il
(it's not that far from the site for Archon). Its called Medieval
Starship.

http://www.medievalstarship.com/ (the website is pretty simple, right
now.)

This is a gaming shop (rpgs and board games), with very little of
anything else.	Some comics (KODT, lots of anime), real bladed weapons
and armor, and a good selection of used gaming material, also.

The Starship has a good selection of Jovian Chronicles, Tribe 8, and a
great HG selection. He doesn't carry and GZG stuff, but I have done a
Full Thrust demo (and plan to do others) to help build up support.

The Fantasy Shop (One of my dearest friends works for them) supplies my
comic need, while Games, Crafts, Hobbies, and Stuff fulfills my
historical miniature fix. The Hobby Shop is where I go to find more
esoteric minis.

I could be biased (Jay is in my Traveller campaign), but in my four
years in the area, I find the Starship to be the best overall games
shop.

If you want directions to any, email me. Drop by the Starship - I'll
pull out some of my ships and we can whip these midwestern boys into
shape!
