So I'm ready to take my Maneuvering 101 final, professor Ohlson.
Will this ship design do?
Mass 184, MD6, FTL, weak hull (37), 12 armor, 6 PDS, 4 FC,
1 superior sensor, 2 class-1 beams, 12 pulse torpedoes (F),
poinsts 642 (using my winged defender miniature so each
'claw' has 6 torps).
I have smaller twin (I made 2 SSDs) siblings with 4 torps
and 4 B1s as escort, mass 84, points 280.
Also, I have its big brother in case we go large, 20 torps, mass
294, points 1010 (each 'claw' is double taloned 5x2 torps {grin}).

I designed some MD8 ships, but I figure MD6 is sufficient against
MD2 ships.

Tonight, maybe Tuesday, will be my last chance to take down
the mighty Steve ship.	:)
Although I have done it before but usually with MD4, 3-arced torp
ships.	Get to range, get initiative, blast away, not much maneuvering
required.

This is also my last chance at a shot of the "Who rolls the most 1s"
honors, although I really hope to lose that chance big time. :)

Glen
