Ah...so we're going to try blaming it on your opponents lack of tactical
variance ehhhh.   ;-)

Seriously though that's why the mailing list is such a great resource.
Heaven knows I tend to concentrate my fire too, but through watching the
opposing sides fire and noticing damage overkill from concentrated fire
recently, being in the end a wake up call to start consider not applying
too
much overkill that could be useful elsewhere.  That and having a number
of
smaller ships on each side really demonstrates this issue (it's amazing
how
much meaningful firepower is wasted when FF, DD, and CL take twice as
much
damage or more than they had hull boxes to start with).
