Subject: Sensors & NSL vs Kra'Vak
I like the idea of one ship in a fleet 'going hot' so we might have
dedicated sensor ships (like a crusiser sized AWACS) with top line
sensors, lots of PDAFs and a good turn of speed.
>From what we have heard about the Kra'Vak good sensors and ECM are the
only things that will save the NSL from them. This also seems to fit
with their background, not the largest fleet but very high tech, also
with the FSE as their traditional foe they will be very interected in EW
and if anyone uses drones (sensor and decoy) they will.
This seems to lead towards 'racial' modifiers eg. NSL +1, NAC, -, ESU -
1... which I don't like, especially as +/-1 in a d6 system is a huge
modifier.
Maybe we should steal the FMA system, but that goes against the grain.
