My favorite's the old "War of the Worlds." Not because of any artistic
or
scientific merit, but because it has a character named "Bilderbeck,"
whis is
about as close as I'll ever get to my 15 minutes.

A wonderful film- my favourite bit is during the final saucer attack on
Washington, when the hero scientist dashes through the electrobolts (or
whatever they are) to the US Army communications trailer, to deliver the
immortal order "Keep firing at flying saucers!"

(I suppose Barbarella doesn't count...)
