No, I was only able to day trip. I forgot to ask if anyone from the
list
was going to be there, as I was already arranging a game of DSII with
Paul
Kidd. Unfortunately, it fell through.	(He says Hi!, by the way Jon T.)

I think I might have seen you there, I did check out the traders hall a
few
times, so you would have been there at least once.

Damon Dark, thats it. Only caught the tail end of the presentation
though.

On a related note, today's Green Guide in The Age has the following
stuff
from a JMS interview over the weekend with Age correspondant, Adam
Turner:

Regarding Crusade: "I think if you want your vision carried out ... and
if
you want the show to do what you want it to do, you have to be hands-on
at
all times to give you the quality or else it just goes down and drifts
away
from your vision."
Apparently Crusade was cancelled before it had gone to air by TNT
because
the show was "too intellectual" and that TNT's recommendations would
have
turned it into "Baywatch meets wrestling in space". I think that says a
lot
about TNT's management.

Other projects: Nothing concrete, but he did admit he has 'embarked on a
new
SF project but will only reveal he is collaborating with a "well-known
science fiction producer". "The new show promises to be even more
involved
and also have a five years story to it." '

Unfortunately, I don't think we'll get to see Crusade here in OZ, as the
article notes that Channel 9 has not yet decided if it will pick it up.

Jeremy, any further highlights which may be of interest to the general
list?
