While Jon's quote is applicable, I do not think you can extend the
current UN as it is into the future. If you recall the timeline, the
current UN fails. A new one is created later to keep peace in the
Core and Inner Worlds, leaving the Solar Wars to take place in the
Outer (colony) Worlds.
