Stargrunt and Starseige: Rebellion

I'm back (sort of, for the moment) and I'm wondering how close 
Starseige:Rebellion and Stargrunt are?	If they are close has anyone
made a 
'patch' for Stargrunt that turns it into Starseige: Rebellion?
