SG2 vehicles

For those who are interested:

The AT-ST kit Scott mentioned is pretty good for a size 2 or 3 walker.
It's about the same size (a little frailer maybe) than the Grendel
Resins... maybe they have a bit longer legs, but the main body is
about the same size.

Walmart also has a "Road and Track" line of vehicles (after the mag of
the same name) by Masito or Masaito or some such name - it includes
Comanches, Vipers, Lexus SUVs, etc. etc. - good for civilian vehicles.
Fine for 28mm, only a wee big large for true 25s. These were about
$3.00 Canadian (So about 0.25 USD)....

They also have (a plastic toy) an item called a Sand Screamer. It is
designed to be some sort of tranformer thingy that launches a little
glider - but when it's all together it looks like a 28mm Hummer. It's
about $5 Canadian (or about 0.35 USD). I found mine "flew apart" with
little cause - however some cyanoacrylate glue fixed that. now it is a
sturdy Hummer with no pretension of "other functions". Looks like a
real hummer next to based GZG figs - a little big large, and squat,
but quite durable.

Just some thoughts for those looking for vehicles. Remember, Resin
(relatively speaking) is very expensive. Toys tend to be robust (metal
or plastic, designed for abuse) and cheap. Now, very rarely are they
going to make a grav tank for you in the toy-store, but squad
carriers, construction vehicles, civilian vehicles, etc can often be
found there for a reasonable price. Save your money for buying the
resins for things you *can't* find elsewhere :)
