[?] Beam Reroll & Screens

OK, here's a good question.

I know how screens work, however...

Are rerolls resolved normally, or are they rolled the same way as the
first
roll?

There are two options:

1) Roll as if screens aren't there on the reroll. After all, it's inside
now, right?

2) Roll as if the screens are there on the reroll. After all, the screen
reduced ther force of the shot, right?

I vote for (2)
