Perhaps so.

Okay okay, I give in. 8^)

Thats true.

Now that makes perfect sense. The NCS paid seriously during the first
Solar War, trying to be a player rather than a manipulator. That
experience, along with sitting right in the path of the KV invasion has
them moving hard and fast towards the NI's style of ship construction
and
combat. Probably only a small portion of the fleet will use stealth
though. They certainly won't be building anymore of the monstrous Lee
class battleships for now. On that note, heres that ship in FB stats,
it
really is a monster.
NCSN General Robert E. Lee class Battleship.
Mass 380
Cost 1238
Strong Hull
Hull Integrity 38/38/38/38
Crew Factor 19
Ratings 304
Officers 76
Armor 20
Standard Sensors
4 x Firecon
6 x Class 4 (three arc)
4 x Pulse Torp (F)
2 x PDS
The Lees are meant to form the core of heavy battlegroups. The only
example is the flagship of the NCS Home Fleet. No others of the planned
class of four ships have been started, nor are they expected to be.
How bout this? The NCS agent buys the tech from NI, then engages in a
series of exercises to practice with it on their newer ships?
Interested?
