Just be exact: the constitution does not guarantee a right to "pursue
happiness", it is the Declaration of Independence. The Constitution of
the
U.S. states in its preamble that it's purpose (among others) is to
"promote
the general welfare". Not to contribute to an international
misuderstanding,
but to refer you to the correct documents.
