Just found the following site:

He's got, among other interesting things, a complete TrueType font of
NATO
military symbols. Very useful for scenario setup, AARs, etc. There's
also
several other symbol-fonts (all TT) of map & other symbols.

(I love late-night websurfing. I haven't a damn clue how I got to this
site...just glad I did)
