Yeah, that's the rub. I (being lazy) figured someone would point out the
medieval knight parallel so didn't state it, but true. But I figure if
we
can (occasionally) be satified with "re-routing the phase inhibitor
couplings to induce a Z particle field re-alignment" we can easily say
that
"Through a combination of eugenics, conditioning and tradition with

stretching back to the time of slavery, the Great Houses of the
Protectorate
of Humanity remain undisputed masters of the Technocracy... for now."

it is, but it's all in a good cause, namely, allowing me to use the
gajillion-dollars worth of Mecha and the handful Ogres I own.
