Not entirely sure about the actual command ability of the following,
but they're the only ones which spring to mind without thinking too
much:

Boudicca? (fought against the Romans, for a while)
Aethelflaed, Lady of the Mercians? (fought against the Danes)
Charlotte de la Tremoille? (successfully held off a couple of seiges
			    during the Civil War).
