The best Battery Commander, Battery XO and the best Platoon Leader I had
in my 10 years in the US Army were all female.
Granted this was in peace time, but still, of all the BC/XO/PL I worked
for, these 3 were the ones I would want to have in charge if the USSR
had come across the Fulda Gap.
I will also allow that I was in Air Defense (long range Missiles at
that), which has a some what _odd_ view of the whole Air/Land battle
thing.
