RE: FAQ's in general

What I think would be best would be a Meta-FAQ. 

This gives the most basic details (addresses of GZG, GeoHex, Eureka; a
few details about this mailing list; list of common abbreviations;
list of the most essential websites and pointers to where the FT, DS
and SG FAQs can be found - along with the most important pieces of
info: the names and e-mail addresses of those responsible for keeping
the FAQs updated.)

This Meta-FAQ could be sent automatically to each new subscriber to
this list (with the whole list getting a copy when it changes).

As a general point FAQs really should always be available in ASCII
text format, with HTML as well if possible.
