Don't waste an Omega to make a Nova.  Buy the NSL Superdreadnought & cut
off the connection point on the spine, & invert the front section when
you assemble it (you'll need to epoxy the front section, regular glue
isn't strong enough).  This gives the right shape.  After its assembled,
add drive tubes & you can bulk up the spine with milliput or plasticard
if required.
It should be less work & cost than chopping up an Omega (& not commit
sacrilege!)
