There is a local company (Shield Laminating) that manufactures magnetic
counter holders in 2 sizes 1/2" and 7/16" (I think). I will look and see
if
they have a national or world wide distributer for this product.  They
are
VERY nice in that there is a designated Up side and Down side taking
polarity into account. This allows you to place the counters, touching
edge
to edge or even stack them 8 to 12 counters high!
