Hmm, I suspect the video formats there are NTSC though not PAL.
Electricity (voltage?) is possibly different too.  Pardon the
negative attitude.

I wonder does this mean that an order has to be over £50 in order to
claim the vat back?  Could be problematic although to be honest I
doubt many of us outside the UK order much below the £50 mark in any
case.  Just not cost effective for postage, otherwise.
