Battletech Universe

     Has anyone ever considered trying out a campaign in the Battletech
universe (one where the space combat is the showstopper, not 'mech
battles). I'm trying to come up with a new campaign (not Star Trek or
Star
Wars, yet something with substantial source material I can draw from,
and
is friendly for 4 or 5 players to participate in. Any suggestions?
