I played a large Babylon 5(ish) battle at Gaelcon 95 last year. An
earth allinace fleet (NSL Models, standard ship designs) consisting of
5 capitals (carriers/dreadnoughts) and about 8 cruisers and lots of
escorts,
engaged a Minbari/Vorlon (Micro-Machines)contingent of 5 heavy/battle
cruisers. The Vorlons used Sa'vasku rules whil the Minbari were
superfast
and hard heavy cruisers. It went on for about 6 hours and by the end
it was
starting to turn towards a Minbari/Vorlon victory, mainly because of
the Vorlons. The Minbari got pretty badly torn up.

It was good fun and it looked great. We'll be doing the same at
Gaelcon 96 here in Dublin at the end of October, if anyone feels
like coming over here.	Its rated as possibly the best convention
in Europe by many. If anyones interested I'll get some details and
send them to you.
