Game1324 - Ships striking colors by themselves?

Shattered Dreams again...

One of my ships seems to have struck colors by itself. It's  
moderately heavily damaged, but still has quite a bit of fight in it.  
Is there an auto-strike rule somewhere? Or is this another glitch in  
the system?
