Full Thrust Java test list -- June 2007
Re: SSL Support
textfilter: converted HTML to plain text
FTJava is currently using JavaMail API version 1.2.
SSL support was added to JavaMail at version 1.3.2, so an API
upgrade is required to add that functionality.
Since the last release...
Capital missiles - coded and under test
UI changes for weapons targeting
Other minor things
Tony, do you think the code is stable for the missile and other
additions? Do we need some more testing with "less manueverable"
ships? LOL!
I can continue to look into the SSL issue.

Sorry about the delay - I actually sent this quite a few

email filtering...
I did some research into this a while ago, and IIRC, it may be as
simple as changing a couple of strings passed to the mail
library. The problem is that development has slowed to a crawl
and it's been a while since I've worked on the code, and
perhaps longer for anyone else. That said, there is quite a
bit of stuff that I would like to be released. I recommend
that you file a feature request using
ftjavabugs.servegame.org:8080/bugzilla/
I always use that as my guide when working on the code, as
it is more useful than searching my email for messages that
may be bugs or feature requests for FTJava.
So if my recollection of what is required is accurate, it
should be in the next release - but I have no idea when that
will be. :-(
Tony.

Been a long while since I seen any traffic on this list so unsure if I
am still even subscribed or if the list is around .. anyways any chance
we can add POP+SSL and SMTP+SSL to the FTJAVA mail client. Should be
easy as I am guessing java already has these libraries developed and
this would allow me to use the client instead of imports / exporting to
a 3rd party mail client (as my servers only support SSL)
