I think that the problem would be that a campaign level game would
make things very complex to program in.
Using FTL already ends the game...but adding the option to jump from
one place to another would take away the need for constant
accelleration, but also make it a b$%@^ to program for the owners.
Campaign games online would take months if not years to complete. It
would be much greater if we could all just meet at one of the Cons
and play the game there. But that is another matter entirely. Would
be pretty bloody cool though.
