Tactical FTL



What would be needed to implement Tactical FTL as a game option?

I'm thinking:
1.  Game setting (Tactical FTL on/off; minimum jump distance)
2.  Fog of War scenario only

Starting work on a "campaign" style game, but if I put the stations/planets
far enough apart that you need to look for them, it would take 10-20 turns
just to get there at full acceleration.
