That's one thing I've found about Kra'vak vs Humans. The Kra'vak need to
inflict heavy damage early and continue to keep their K-guns on targets. As
soon as they lose arc, the human beams/grasers start to come back. Also the
Kra'vak aren't designed for long engagement times. Once they run out of
scatterguns, any remaining human ordinance really hurts them when it hits.
I think there may have been an issue with fighter morale though; my sole
remaining heavy fighter with 4 turns of endurance failed to attack that
crippled KV destroyer over 8 times. Either that or my die rolls sucked
again.
At least I got my carrier out of there to be repaired after I couldn't shake
that KV destroyer chasing me.
