Full Thrust Java test list -- May 2006
Re: JSpaceHulk (off-topic)
So that's where you guys have been!
How about we tear Dan and Jon away from JSpaceHulk,
get FTJava to 1.0, then get JSpaceHulk to 1.0, then
work on my Java implementation of Milton Bradley's
Shogun (aka Samurai Swords)?
We are SO close to getting FTJava to 1.0 - the only
feature left (I think) is to allow fighters to
launch right into attacks instead of forcing them to
screen their carrier for the first turn.
For FTJava 1.X, the main (externally visible) thing to
implement will be the Sa'Vasku. Perhaps also an AI
opponent (although I believe this is a very low priority.)
Tony.
ps. I have been thinking of doing exactly what Dan
is doing now for a few years, but finally decided on
Shogun instead. I would not mind putting in some code
for JSpaceHulk though.
