Full Thrust Java test list -- May 2006
Re: JSpaceHulk (off-topic)
Peter,
I did give both of those a whirl. QSpaceHulk (the 2nd in the list)
had a show stopper for me, I don't know Qt very well, so I couldn't do
the port to Qt 4.0 which is GPL and cross platform. I actually added
an AI opponent to QSpaceHulk, but never released it. Check out the CVS
repository on my SourceForge project.
And SpaceHulk-SP is written in Visual Basic, which is no longer
supported (and not free). And I have a Mac so it was no-go from the
start.
Since I know Java better than Qt, I thought I'd start up a new
project using the best of both efforts. I've already added a bunch of
features above and beyond the other projects: multi level including
ladders, LOS/LOF visibility limits, a nice editor, etc..
Regards,
-dan
