Well, that was brief.  Noam won that one, although I suspect that it
was partially due to hot dice:

   Turn 2: Attack: Adrian hit for three points with a class 3 beam
battery.
   Turn 2: Attack: Adrian hit for one point with a class 3 beam
battery.
   Turn 2: Attack: Adrian hit for three points with a class 2 beam
battery.
   Turn 2: Attack: Adrian missed with a class 2 beam battery.
   Turn 2: Attack: Angelica missed with a class 2 beam battery.
   Turn 2: Attack: Angelica hit, but deflected with a class 2 beam
battery.
   Turn 2: Attack: Angelica hit, but deflected with a class 3 beam
battery.
   Turn 2: Attack: Allison missed with a class 2 beam battery.
   Turn 2: Attack: Allison hit for one point with a class 2 beam
battery.
   Turn 2: Attack: Allison hit for four points with a class 3 beam
battery.

I count 12 points of damage on my (screened) CE from 14 dice--50%
better than average.  My dice were equally hot against DD Allison, but
unfortunately that just resulted in overkill..
