Hey Bob,
This last turn I've found out that one must click on the fighter group on the star map.There are options for a plot envelope,range band,and lock-ons,much like missle salvos.As a matter of fact,I've targeted Saratoga for an agressive attack.It remains to be seen if I can get the fighter group home,provided the y survive.

On the other hand,I have yet to see any of your fighters.I thought that maybe the damage to Saratoga's fighter bays prevented launch.Clear to see I'm wrong in this assumtion.
